COLOUR RESPONSIBLE POLICY
We love all of our clients at Redmill Hair, and we want to make sure everyone feels at home in our salons. That’s why we have a Colour Responsible Policy to ensure your safety with us is our priority.
For your first colour visit with Redmill, or if it's been 12 months since your last Allergy Alert Test and longer than 6 months since your last colour service with us with you must attend the salon at least 48 hours prior to your appointment for Allergy Alert Test. A small amount of colour formula (remove earrings) will be placed behind your ear. This must be left for the next 48 hours without washing, covering or touching and observed. If you experience any signs of irritation, reddening, swelling, inflammation or itching in or around the test area, wipe gently with a cotton pad using just water and seek medical advice. In-between each colour service, we will email/SMS a Colour Responsible Form to you, 5 days prior to your appointment. This is a quick link with a series of tick-box questions, which you can easily answer, sign and submit to update your client account within a few seconds. This allows us to see any changes that may require a new Allergy Alert Test, however, in most cases, it will show it is safe to carry out your colour.
All of our stylists have been trained to test and screen for suitability for colour services. We have vast experience in safe colouring and you can be sure we only use the best colour products and invest in the most up to date practices for your safety.
